Determination of yield and quality parameters of some melon (Cucumis melo L.) cultivars

Ege Universitesi Ziraat Fakultesi Dergisi 42(1): 25-33

In this experiment, yield and some quality properties of 5 melon cultivars were investigated at two locations (Bornova and Cine) in Turkey. Statistically significant differences were found among cultivars and locations on studied yield and quality parameters. The highest yield per plant, fruit weight, number of fruits per plant, early and total yield, soluble solid content, fruit length and diameter were obtained from Cine location.
