Efficacy of dry permeation seed treatment with plant growth regulators in onion (Allium cepa L.) genotypes

Journal of Eco Physiology 7(3/4): 101-104

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of certain plant growth regulators applied through dry permeation technique on the viability of onion seed genotypes N-53 and RO-1. Observations were recorded at 0, 6 and 12 months after storage. The results revealed that germination percentage and germination relative index (GRI) decreased with the advancement of storage period in both the genotypes.
