Growth pattern of desi ducks from day-old to twenty weeks of age

Tamilnadu Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences 1(1/2): 37-40

An experiment was conducted to study the growth trend of ducks for a period of twenty weeks starting on the first week of age. Two starter rations were fed to ducklings for the first eight weeks and two grower rations were fed to grower ducks from the 9th week to the 20th week. It was noticed that the ducklings fed with ration 1 attained body weight of 97.15 and 1054.85 g during the first and eighth weeks of age, respectively, and similar values for ration 2 were 102.57 and 1079.58 g.
