The performance of 7 garlic cultivars (G-1, G-41, G-50, G-282, Godavari, Sweta and local) was evaluated under the Nagpur (Maharashtra, India) agroclimatic conditions during the 2003-04 rabi season. The results revealed that in respect of plant height and neck thickness, the local variety was found superior, while with regards to leaves per plant, length and width of leaves, G-1 was superior.
