This study was conducted to analyse the genetic variability among Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale strains from chickens and to compare these strains with the serotype-specific strains. Six field strains of O. rhinotracheale isolated from chickens in Elazig province located in the East of Turkey were typed by random amplified polymorphic DNA assay using a random primer (OPG-11) and serotyping.
