Conservation of biological and landscape diversity in the Dnipro Dnieper River Basin: 42-53



Damming of the Dnipro River (flowing through Russia, Belarus and Ukraine) accompanied by the anthropogenically-induced eutrophication has significantly changed the diversity of ichthyofauna and has resulted in the considerable deterioration of the quality of commercial fishes caught both from reservoirs and river estuaries.
