An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of sex pheromone and plant volatiles in the control of Dysaphis plantaginea infesting apple via traps was investigated in UK. The treatments were: (1) nepetalactol + nepetalactone (4:1); (2) nepetalactone; (3) ocimene + treatment 1; (4) ocimene + treatment 2; (5) methyl salicylate + treatment 1; (6) methyl salicylate + treatment 2; and the control.
