The effects of irrigation period (at flower initiation; flower initiation and pegging stage; or flower initiation, pegging stage and pod development stage); and source of sulfur (elemental sulfur, single superphosphate, ammonium sulfate or gypsum) on the growth parameters (plant height and dry matter accumulation) and yield of groundnut were studied during the rabi seasons of 2003 and 2004 on sandy loam soil in Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal, India.
