Periodic changes in soil carbon dioxide evolution, dehydrogenase activity and changes in different microbial populations as a result of Sesbania aculeata and S. rostrata green manuring and mungbean straw incorporation were monitored in rice-wheat cropping system during 1993/94 and 1994/95, in New Delhi, India.
