The effects of row spacing (60 and 90 cm), sett rate (444 000 and 667 000 setts/ha) and N (120 and 150 kg/ha in the form of urea and/or farmyard manure (FYM)) rates on the growth and yield of sugarcane CoS 767 were determined in a field experiment conducted in Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India during 1995-97. Row spacing of 60 cm, sett rate of 667 000 setts and N rate of 120 kg FYM/ha + 60 kg urea/ha gave the highest crop yield.
