A specimen found in the Var department [France] is described. The morphology was generally that of a female, but the ovipositor was malformed. There was a double genital apparatus with a normal ovary on the left and an ovotestis on the right side. The loss of an X chromosome was considered the most likely explanation for these characteristics.
