A new brazilian cyrtobagous salviniae new species coleoptera curculionidae introduced into australia to control salvinia molesta

A 2nd spp. of Cyrtobagous Hustache C. salviniae, introduced from Brazil into Australia for the biological control of S. molesta Mitchell, is described, figured and compared with C. singularis Hustache. The known distributions and host ranges of both species are discussed.
