A new rapid gas chromatography method for the detection of basic drugs in post mortem blood using a nitrogen phosphorus detector 2 quantitative analysis

A new rapid gas chromatography method for the detection of basic drugs in post mortem blood using a nitrogen phosphorus detector 2 quantitative analysis

Journal of Analytical Toxicology 3(4): 155-157

A method is described for the quantitation of some chemically basic drugs and their metabolites from postmortem [human] blood by gas chromatography with nitrogen phosphorus detection. The method uses appropriate internal standards and spiked blood samples over a predetermined multipoint concentration range. The quantitative aspects of several common drugs of interest are discussed.
