A test technique to study the effects of controlled atmospheres on stored product pests

A test technique to study the effects of controlled atmospheres on stored product pests

Zeitschrift fuer Angewandte Entomologie 93(5): 493-496

DOI: 10.1111/j.1439-0418.1982.tb03625.x

The main features of the technique were the previous preparation of gas mixtures in a calibrated gas mixtures generator, the storage in aluminum foil sacks and the introduction to exposure chambers through a peristaltic pump. The technique gave satisfactory results and reduced the time spent for maintenance and checking.
