Acid phosphatase activities in actinia equina and cereus pedunculatus

Bulletin de la Societe Zoologique de France 101(3): 367-376

Ultrastructural cytochemistry techniques demonstrated that acid phosphatases were located in cells containing lysosomes. These cells responsible for intra-cellular digestion are abundant in mesenteroids. During experimental regeneration of A. equina there was an increase of acid phosphatase activity.
