Clinical effects of topsym cream fapg base on oozing eczematous dermatitis with special reference to comparison with betamethasone valerate ointment containing gentamicin

Hifu 27(1): 84-88

Clinical effects of Topsym cream (TC) were compared with those of bentamethasone valerate ointment containing gentamicin (Rinderon VG Ointment : RVGO) in 20 cases of oozing eczematous dermatitis. TC was remarkably effective in 13 cases and effective in 7 cases, while RVGO was remarkably effective in 9 cases, effective in 10 cases and slightly effective in 1 case. TC was assessed to be superior to RVGO in efficacy in 5 cases, equivalent in 15 cases and there were no cases in which RVGO was evaluated to be superior to TC. No side effects were observed in any cases treated with both drugs.
