Separate and combined action of thiophosphamide and dipine on chromosomes of human lymphocytes is analyzed. A method is suggested for controlling the additivity of the combined action of the mutagens taking into consideration a nonlinear dependence of the cytogenetic effect on the concentration. The inadequacy of the traditional experimental scheme when studying this problem is emphasized.
