Abstract
Wheat, oats and barley were grown with several levels of Cu application on a Cu-deficient soil. Differences among cereals in growth responses to applied Cu appeared to be due to differences in Cu uptake rather than to differences in internal Cu requirements. Critical concentrations of Cu in the youngest fully emerged leaf were .apprx. 1.3 .mu.g g-1 for all 3 spp.
