Computation of the cardiac minute volume output according to the data of radio nuclide studies using a pocket calculator

Meditsinskaya Radiologiya 25(8): 58-62

A method was described of automatic computation of the cardiac output by a dilution curve of the carrier of a radioactive isotope administered into the cardiac cavity. Computation is performed with the help of a program-operated pocket calculator. The data recorded in the semiconductor external memory are fed into it. The program provides for data transformation in the decimal code, computation according to the Stewart-Hamilton formula and printout of the results.
