Detection of contrast sensitivity with red and blue gratings in the follow-up of patients suffering from cataract and treated with Bendalina eye drop has confirmed the effectiveness of the drug in cataract treatment. Furthermore we have formed the hypothesis that it may have a certain positive effect on the photoreceptors considering the improvement of sensitivity to low frequencies when red gratings are used.
