Contribution to the knowledge of the genera acanthocreagris and roncocreagris arachnida pseudoscorpiones neobisiidae

, : Contribution to the knowledge of the genera acanthocreagris and roncocreagris arachnida pseudoscorpiones neobisiidae. Revue Suisse de Zoologie 83(1): 193-214

Nearly all type specimens of the former genus Microcreagris in Europe and the Near East have been revised. All Iberian Microcreagris species are to be placed in Roncocreagris, most of the others have to be placed in Acanthocreagris. M. parisi Vachon is a junior synonym of Microcreagrina hispanica (Ell.); Microcreagris strandi (Ell.) belongs to the genus Syarinus; M. caucasica Beier is placed in the genus Roncus; Roncus (Parablothrus) cavernicola Beier is transferred to Acanthocreagris. The Microcreagris-species from Afghanistan are heterogenous: M. herculea has to be placed in Microcreagris s. s., but M. furax, M. klapperichi (and M. afghanica?) belong with M. annamensis to an East-Asiatic species group of uncertain identity. The species M. lindbergi also probably represents a yet undescribed genus. [Species described as new are A. corcyrea (Corfu, Greece), A. obtusa (Turkey), A. vachoni (Iran), A. iranica Beier (Iran) and Roncocreagris beieri (Portugal?)].
