Cyto toxic activity of peripheral blood mononuclear cells of lung cancer patients and healthy persons against human lung oat cells

Cyto toxic activity of peripheral blood mononuclear cells of lung cancer patients and healthy persons against human lung oat cells

Kyungpook University Medical Journal 21(2): 710-714

The cytotoxic activities of PB [peripheral blood] mononuclear cells (effector cell) against human lung oat cells (target cell) were studied in 6 lung cancer patients and 6 healthy persons without any previous sensitization. The activities were highest at target cell/effector cell ratio, 1:100, in both groups. The PB mononuclear cells of lung cancer patients showed significantly lower cytotoxic activities against oat cells, than those of healthy persons, at 1:100 and 1:200 of target cell/effector cell ratios.
