The cytogenetic effect of zencor, bazagrane and difenamide on the chromosome aberration test was studied in Crepis capillaris cells. All these herbicides possess a cytogenetic activity in G1, S and G2 phase (S phase is a more sensitive) and they are undelayed action mutagens. Among chromosome aberrations, there mainly arise chromatid deletions and NUpd type isochromatid deletions and microfragments are comparatively not so frequent. Both intrachromosomal and interchromosomal aberrations do not arise.
