Determination of n n di beta naphthyl p phenylenediamine in the air in industrial facilities and in the wash from workers hands

Gigiena i Sanitariia (1): 61-64

Colorimetric determination of an aqueous-acetone solution of the diamine which forms an orange-red compound with diazosulfanilic acid and is used as a stabilizer for resins, rubber and polyolefin and polyamide fibers, is presented. The optical density of the solution was directly proportional to the content of the stabilizer. Concentrations of the diamine from 0.05-150 mg/m3 were found in the air of industrial rooms and 0.2-8 mg in the acetone used for washing of 1 hand.
