Development of a test of trichogramma evanescens searching ability

Laboratory tests of Trichogramma searching ability, based on the search of 49 main host's eggs by the female, are described. Field testing of the searching ability of T. evanescens Westw. on corn and cabbage showed good correlation with the laboratory results.
