Blood pressure, respiration, pulse rate and orthoclinistatic test results were studied in 19 men (19.5 yr old, 75 kg wt) in the environments of 10.degree., 23.degree. and 28.degree. C. The indicators of vegetative excitibility and tone were statistically different and suggested a higher excitation of the sympathetic nervous system at higher air temperatures. This fact must be considered in using this examination in longitudinal check-ups.
