Discontinuous release of phage f 2

Discontinuous release of phage f 2

Virology 79(1): 216-238

The kinetics of release of bacteriophage f2 from single infected [Escherichia coli] cells at 30.degree. C was studied. Particles are released discontinuously in single bursts. At 30.degree. C phage are released by cell lysis, as is the case at 37.degree. C.
