Using samples of Aujeszky's disease virus antisera, 810 swine sera from slaughter houses (556) and from private farms (254) were studied for the presence of antibodies by neutralization and fluorescent antibody tests. The virus neutralization and fluorescent antibody titers varied from 1:10-1:30 and 1:20-1:64, respectively. Five samples of 810 tested (2.1%) were positive by both methods and the virus neutralization and fluorescent antibody titers varied from 1:2-1:11 and 1:2-1:8, respectively.
