One strain of Mycoplasma was isolated from an outbreak of acute arthritis in piglets. This strain was antigenically similar to the strains 7 and 71 of M. hyorhinis. Antibody studies, using the metabolic inhibition test, revealed titers higher than 1:8 in all synovial fluid studied.
