Races 201, 202, 203, 207, 211, 213, 226, 227, 230, 236, 237, 238, 258, 263, 265, 276, 277, 279 and race A were identified. Races 238 and 263 were prevalent in 1970 and races 263 and 276 in 1971 and 1972. The percentage of the most prevalent races in 1959-1972 are presented. These physiologically different races of the crown rust fungus were collected from oats in 1970-1972.
