Dynamics of endogenous auxins and cyto kinins in grapevine leaves

Dynamics of endogenous auxins and cyto kinins in grapevine leaves

Fiziologiya na Rasteniyata 6(2): 63-69

Investigations were conducted concerning the content and changes of free and bound auxins and cytokinins in the photosynthetizing organs of 2 groups of grapevine plants characterized by differing intensity of their growth and reproductive processes. Correlations were established between the content of free and bound forms of the growth regulators studied in the leaves of grapevine plants, differing in growth rate and in their development of flowers and fruits. The possibility that a mutual control exists in this crop between the phytohormone dynamics in the leaves and the growth and development processes is discussed.
