The long-term influences of 6 different crop rotations with cereal concentration of 40, 60, 80 and 100% [with alfalfa, potatoes and sugar beets] on the contents of organic matter, Nt, P and K and the N, P and K balances is reported. Cropping structure and crop rotation strongly influenced the soil organic matter and Nt contents, but had little or minor effects on the K and P contents, respectively.
