Effect of flooding on some chemical and morphological characteristics of rice

Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences 45(10): 461-463

Standing water did not significantly influence some morphological characteristics in rice (Oryza sativa L.), but yield was significantly higher under flooded conditions. The uptake of Mn, Fe and Fe/Mn were higher in plants grown under flooded conditions.
