Effect of food varieties on the reproductive potential of corcyra cephalonica stainton galleriinae pyralidae lepidoptera
Trials have been conducted to find out the effect of food varieties on the reproductive potential of C. cephalonica (Stainton). The order of food varieties on the basis of fecundity is: Vijay > WL-2265 > CSH-5 > CSH-9 > WL-711 > Sangam > Navjot > PBW-65 > SPV 462 > SPV351 > Partap > SPV-475 > Ageti-76 > PBW-12 > Local > PBW-34 > SL-44. The order of food varieties on the basis of viability of eggs is : Vijay > Sangam > Navjot < Partap > Ageti-76 > Local > SL-2265 > CSH-5 > CSH-9 > SPV-462 > WL-711 > PBW-65 > SPV-351 > SPV-475 > PBW-12 > SL-44 > PBW-34.
