The effect of cortisol and insulin on mice liver lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) isoenzyme pattern and total LDH activity, and influence of hormone injection on the effect of Ehrlich ascites tumor cells on the LDH isoenzyme pattern of liver were investigated. Cortisol and insulin decrease the total activity of LDH and content of homotetramers H4 and M4; the content of heterotetramers increases sharply. Hormones weaken the effect of Ehrlich ascites tumor cells on liver LDH isoenzyme pattern.
