Effect of metopirone treatment on the interrenal tissue of the parakeet psittacula krameri quail coturnix coturnix and common myna acridotheres tristis

Effect of metopirone treatment on the interrenal tissue of the parakeet psittacula krameri quail coturnix coturnix and common myna acridotheres tristis

Biological Bulletin of India 5(1): 1-5

Young adult specimens of both sexes of the parakeet (Psittacula krameri), the grey quail (Coturnix coturnix) and the common myna (Acridotheras tristis) were treated with the adrenocortical inhibitor, metopirone. The drug caused an overall atrophy of the interrenal tissue.
