Effect of microwave irradiation on mouse hemopoiesis increasing the resistance of animals to ionizing radiation

The effect of microwave irradiation on mouse hemopoiesis was studied. Total-body exposure of mice to microwaves stimulated the colony-forming capacity of the bone marrow and spleen. This beneficial effect of microwave radiation was used for increasing the resistance of mice to ionizing radiation.
