Mold caused by Aspergillus repens (Cda.) De Bary, A. niger van Tieghem, A. flavus Link, A. ochraceus Wilhelm, Penicillium expansum (Link) Thom, P. commune Thom and P. spinulosum Thom influenced the changes in chemical composition of cured tobacco leaves, consisting in the decrease in soluble carbohydrate content with the simultaneous increase in the percentage of specific protein. It had an effect on the deterioration of technological and taste values of raw tabacco.
