Effect of molybdenum and copper spray on symbiotic nitrogen fixation and dry weight of broad bean vicia faba

The experiment was carried out in a green-house of the Institute of Plant Nutrition in Berlin to study the effect of Mo and Cu on nitrogen fixation and the dry weight of faba bean plants. The results can be summarized as follows: Mo and Cu application as (50-100 and 150-300 ppm respectively) spray increased the dry matter of broad bean plants, the highest increase was produced by the highest Mo concentration. Mo and Cu sprays increased the total nitrogen in plants, nodules in the soil as well as total nitrogen fixation.
