The effectiveness of organic, organic-mineral and mineral systems of fertilization was studied in a steady-state multiple-factor experiment with various crop rotations including potatoes, barley, annual grasses, winter wheat and perennial grasses. Advantages of the field crop rotation were elucidated on the basis of data on experiments carried out in 1980-1982. The productivity of field and grain crop rotations differed depending on fertilizers used. The effect of the precursors of crop rotation on the productivity of cereal crops was evaluated.
