Phosfon D reduced plant height significantly and the effect was more pronounced in foliar sprays than in soil drench treatments. It increased root length and nodule number in lower doses but decreased them with higher one. Phosfon D increased the seed yield at the same time significantly increasing the pod number, grain weight and 1000 grain weight.
