Effect of rootstocks on growth and leaf mineral content of kinnow mandarin at the nursery stage

In the present investigation, the most vigorous Kinnow plants produced by Marmalade orange, Jambhiri, Karna and Nebutenga had high leaf N, Ca, Mg, Fe; Mn; Zn, Cu and chlorophyll content while P and K content was less. The Rangpur lime and Sweet lime exhibited intermediate effects, while Cleopatra mandarin, Nasnaran, Trifoliate orange and Troyer citrange produced slow growing budded plants and were associated with comparatively low values of leaf mineral elements.
