Abstract
The effect of cyclophosphamide and thiophosphamide on mouse liver lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) isoenzyme spectrum and its total activity was studied. The cytostatics decreased the total activity of LDH and changed the quantity ratio of isoenzymes. A decrease of activity of LDH-5 and a considerable increase of activity of LDH-2, LDH-3 and LDH-4 were observed. Cyclophosphamide and thiophosphamide caused the loss of ability of tumor cells in vivo and in vitro to change the LDH isoenzyme spectrum.
