Effects of different applications of zinc and manganese on yields of valencia orange trees economic evaluation

Annual spray applications of ZnSO4, MnSO4, ZnSO4 + Ca and ZnSO4 + ZnSO4 + MnSO4 were done over three years on Valencia orange trees deficient in zinc and manganese. Yields were increased the most with treatment of ZnSO4 + MnSO4 in all the years, but significant results were reached in the third. Significant differences were not found among the treatments for weight per fruit, diameter, height and diameter/height ratio, although significative differences were found in weight per fruit among years of study. An economic evaluation of spray applications was done in order to to know the cost of them.
