Abstract
The efficacy of 7.5 mg/kg levamisole administered subcutaneously to cattle was evaluated in 2 trials in cattle which harbored either natural or artificial D. viviparus infection. Lungworm burdens were recovered by use of a lung perfusion technique and levamisole was 97.7 and 93.5% effective against natural and artificial infection, respectively.
