Abstract
The changes in the body proteins during different developmental stages were observed using polyacrylamide disc electrophoresis. Characteristic stage specific proteins are noted in the larval, pupal and adult stages. Three sex specific proteins are observed in the adult females, while an extra male specific protein could be detected which was not present in the female preparations. A mammalian serum albumin-like protein could not be observed in Pachymerus chinensis.
