, : Electrophysiological analysis of the effect of hypothalamus on the cerebellar cortex. Fiziologicheskii Zhurnal (Kiev) 32(3): 257-263

Evoked potentials and neuronal extracellular reactions of the cerebellar cortex were revealed during stimulation of the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus and the lateral hypothalamic nucleus in narcotized and locally anesthetized cats. The cerebellopethal influences of the ventromedial nucleus are monosynaptic and polysynaptic. There are adrenergic and cholinergic ones too. The principal type of the influences is the exciting effect.
