Endoscopic examination of children and adolescents up to 18 years with upper abdominal dyspepsia

Ugeskrift for Laeger 150(17): 1034-1035

Twenty-three patients under 18 years were examined with esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy for diagnostic purposes. Eleven patients had upper abdominal dyspepsia. Good correlation was found between the dyspepsia and the endoscopic findings. The same diagnostic procedure is suggested for this age group as for adults.
