Epidemiological clinical and biological aspects of apparent enterovirus infections in lorraine france during the past 4 years 1980 1983

, : Epidemiological clinical and biological aspects of apparent enterovirus infections in lorraine france during the past 4 years 1980 1983. Annales Medicales de Nancy et de l'Est 24(APRIL): 151-152, 154, 157-158

Apparent enteroviral infections in Lorraine in 1980-1983 showed a predominance of one serotype only (Echovirus 30: 93% in 1980; Echovirus 11: 60% in 1981), or little successive epidemics with several serotypes (1982-1983). These infections, in the beginning, particularly in children, of many clinical syndromes such as meningitis, gastroenteritis, rash and respiratory diseases, often requiring hospitalization, must not be neglected.
