Cases (427) of strongyloidiasis were detected in Paris. High incidences among black Africans coming from West Africa (17%) and black Carribeans living in France (28.5%) were noted. Lack of hypereosinophilia in 2/3 of the cases was reported. A high incidence of successful treatment with thiabendazol with a daily dose of 25 mg/kg over 4 days was noted.
